01

Who we are

Setback Fit & Frame runs a bike-fitting studio and framebuilding workshop at Arch 31, Ropewalk Yard, London SE1. We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us the data controller under UK GDPR.

02

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number when you book. During a fit: your body measurements, joint angles, saddle pressure maps, the 3D motion-capture recording, photos of your position, and anything you tell us about injuries or pain.

For a frame: your fit sheet, your drawing and your delivery address. Payments are taken by the payment provider linked on our booking pages; we never see or store your card details.

03

Why we use it

To run your fit, draw and build your frame, answer your questions and send your fit sheet. Our legal basis is the contract between us. Information about injuries is health data: we only record it with your explicit consent, and only to fit you safely.

04

How long we keep it

Fit data is kept for six years so that we can compare it at your next fit or refit. Frame drawings are kept for as long as the frame is under warranty. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, at any time.

05

Who we share it with

Nobody, for marketing. With your permission we share your fit sheet with your physio or coach. Our booking, email and payment providers process data on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service.

06

Your rights

You can ask to see, download, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. We answer within one month. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
